well shikira ryan made the buy ins so you might not be able to play with friends and thats the best part of gpokr

I am not sure but I think Ganech means the friends list not showing in full now, again most likely to save lag

But fp's one is good also.

The 'suppress-features-as-to-make-site-less-lagging' method was maybe a good way to test at first, but 6 months after, one has to admit that it didn't solve the pbm at all but it deprived to us of many very appreciable features.
The friend's list is just one of them.
