at 6:20 PM, Thursday June 5, 2008 EDT I have to agree with JulesDogg. If you let too many people stay in the hand, it will most likely spell doom. If you are playing at a tight table you HAVE to raise with AA. You don't want ppl with crap cards to draw out on you. Always try to get 1 to 2 players to call because most of the time if you raise it high enough, you get people who call with K J,
Q 10, ect. By raising with aces it increases your odds of winning. And if you are playing at the small tables, feel free to go all in if you know you will get one call. But that's just me. |

You can regularly get all in with AA against crap like KTs and worse. |

at 8:34 AM, Friday June 6, 2008 EDT The more I play, the less I like to slow play any hand. Even trips or a straight on the flop. Too often if you let people stay in the game, someone will get a flush or a higher straight and they will beat you. Better to bet big and if everyone folds, at least you win something.
