Now when i watch some of the top 10 play, with a few exceptions, it seems like noone really knows how to play poker anymore. After the turn or on the river, Going all in to get the pot, is not real poker. These dumbasses in the top 5 would lose so quick if they had to play against the real players. Like Vince Carter, or Gaz Barker, or GuyBrush. The players of today are all just posers. Going all in all the time, thinking that no one will call such an outrageous bet. Learn to play for real. I know this is not a real poker site for real money, but can't we have respect for the other players that are trying to play for fun, and play like normal?
Sorry for the rant, i just got done watching a higher table for about 45 minutes and I am sick of what i saw. This guy named Casaloko went all in at least 5 times. That it is not how you play poker. |

at 6:40 AM, Monday June 4, 2007 EDT The thing is, going "all in" in real life for $1 million isn't that big of a deal when losing only means a loss of .00000001% of your total funds (and you get long run profit from that move). Anyway, I believe all the "real" players can play boring poker at the $100/$200 without too much resistance, just call the occasional all inners and make them lose money until they go away.
And everyone I've played poker with irl absolutely sucked hard at it so you guys should be thankful enough you get to play with decent people out there. |
