For 1-2 weeks there has been a slew of recognizable, ostensibly bot low-level accounts playing at entry-level tables.
According to a terse post (from july) by gnice37 in a different thread of the forum, "if you see a lot of random low level accts on the table....it is Ryan working on site". Ok then. What I would like to know is if these bot accounts are meant as a new permanent "feature" of the site or not. It would be great to have a modicum of "official" communication on the subject. |

at 1:32 PM, Wednesday August 20, 2025 EDT Think the bots are here permanently. Some times you come on this site and no one is playing even baby tables. They are installed so there are tables going all the time no matter what. Also there is one he actually plays and goes around checking the site. Just watch them they play like Ryan so once used to playing them easy no problems lol
Ryan has had these on kdice for a a good while now and is working fine. |

at 9:01 PM, Wednesday August 20, 2025 EDT I will have to ask Ryan if these accts will be around for awhile...according to his message to me, these are just automated test accounts for local development. As far as the Aibot on kdice, that was created by a player and not Ryan. Will let you know about the test accts when I speak with Ryan

at 9:05 PM, Wednesday August 20, 2025 EDT definition I could find about local development..Local development in programming refers to the practice of setting up a development environment directly on a developer's personal computer or workstation. This environment allows developers to write, test, and debug code without needing to constantly interact with remote servers or a live production environment.

if you limp in preflop against them to keep them in and then all in after flop, the BOTS call with anything. |

at 10:44 AM, Saturday August 30, 2025 EDT The bots were for testing changes. First i left them on by accident then I thought they might be nice for a few players when nobody is around.
Whats should happen with them? Some requests I've heard are that they should be identified as bots and also that they should be able to play higher tables too. |

at 6:25 PM, Saturday August 30, 2025 EDT I haven't ran across any players that really don't want them and I do like the idea of letting them on 200 tables also....allows ppl to have someone to play against, night time eastern zone.
