I consider verbal flagging being a kind of truce. Therefore i wont "respect" any vflags early on unless i find it profitable.
I find myself playing basically according to the following guidelines in this precise order:
1. be true to my word
2. make decisions according to what i intuitively feel to be fair
3. respect flagging, trucing and fighting for position conventions
4. play to win
There are two implications id like to specifically point out:
- I like playing with friends, but i dont help them (#2), im often even harder on them then on the others
- I dont always respect flags or get truce partner 2nd (when it collides with #1 or #2)
Oh and an important note: If you don't honor #1 or #3 i might as well ignore all the above and just play to kill you.
