Where did the real poker players go?

Now when i watch some of the top 10 play, with a few exceptions, it seems like noone really knows how to play poker anymore. After the turn or on the river, Going all in to get the pot, is not real poker. These dumbasses in the top 5 would lose so quick if they had to play against the real players. Like Vince Carter, or Gaz Barker, or GuyBrush. The players of today are all just posers. Going all in all the time, thinking that no one will call such an outrageous bet. Learn to play for real. I know this is not a real poker site for real money, but can't we have respect for the other players that are trying to play for fun, and play like normal?
Sorry for the rant, i just got done watching a higher table for about 45 minutes and I am sick of what i saw. This guy named Casaloko went all in at least 5 times. That it is not how you play poker. |

All in all the time, does not constitute a style of play. The guys i mentioned did not go all in all the time. You are not the only one i saw Casaloko... if you did go from 1st to last to 1st to last to 1st again like you say... i applaud you. But, i just don't think the style of play is in the spirit of real poker. I know Gpokr is not real poker, there is shit that goes on here, that you would never see anywhere else. But if you really want to see what ur worth, don't go all in every other hand.

(please read carefully all he said..) But it applies not only to the top xx ppls, but to the whole of us... They are the disadvantages of the fake-money stuff, and we can't go against, this is the basic rule of Gpokr. (as casa said "it works..") As for the ranks, everybody knows that they mean nothing, so the "deserve or not" discuss is non-sense. |
